COLORED POCHOIR LITHOGRAPH PRINT
- FEATURING SPANISH COSTUMES
This 73 year old COLORED POCHOIR LITHOGRAPH is by Emile Gallois from "COSTUMES ESPAGNOLES" published by Renson Fils in Paris, France in 1939.
Emile Gallois (1882–1965) was a French Art Deco artist who was best known for his Pochoir Costume Prints.
The vivid colors of the Pochoir printing process were created by putting down layers of bright paint to a lithograph using a stencil process similar to the silk screening procedure that is still used today.
This hand-coloured pochoir print is in very good condition with minor age toning. The size of the print is about 13" x 8" on a page that is about 15 1/2" x 12" (blank on back). It is on fine thick paper. The print will be sent with a copy of a write-up on the costume. Note that we have additional Gallois Pochoir Costume Prints on our website store at www.SANDTIQUE-Rare-Prints.com
