This 137 year old hand-colored steel engraving is from "PICTURESQUE AMERICA" by William Cullen Bryant. It was published by Appleton & Co. of New York in 1873.
This colored engraved print (the size of the image) is about 9 1/2 " x 5 1/2 " on a page that is about 12 1/2" x 9", blank on the back. It is in very good condtion with the usual age toning. This print is suitable for framing and would be an excellent meaningful gift.
