ANTIQUE, COPPER ENGRAVED BIRD PRINT This 216 year old print was rescued from "NICKOLSON'S BRITISH ENCYCLOPEDIA" by Nickolson from 1819. It was published by Mitchell, Ames & White of Philadelphia and was the first U.S. printing of this book.This copper engraving print (the size of the picture) is about 6" x 4 1/3" on a page that is about 8 1/4" x 5" It is in good condtion with usual age toning. It is suitable for framing and would be an excellant gift. The print that is being sold is of "VULTURE, HUMMING BIRD, UPUPA & IBIS". |
