This 141 year old FINE HAND-COLORED print was rescued from he book MODES ET COSTUMES HISTORIQUES by Pauquet Freres. It was published by The bureau of Design & Historic Costumes in Paris in 1870.
This print is quite rare. It sells for up to $150 on the Internet while the source book sells for up to $1,500.
This hand colored print (the size of the image) is about 5 1/2 " x 3 1/2 " on a page that is about 11" x 8". It is in very good condtion with the usual age toning. This print is suitable for framing and would be an excellent gift.
