DEER FOREST COMMISSION MAP

Fine chromolithograph map from "DEER FOREST COMMISSION REPORT" by The Royal Commission on the Highlands & Islands in Scotland in 1892. The map is an Ordinance Survey and is 1" to the mile. The map was printed by Wyman & Sons.

The image is about 20" x 25" on a page that is about 22" x 29".  It is in good condition and blank on verso. There have been some repairs along the folds that have been professionally done on the back using Japan paper. Also,, some of the edges are a bit rough. These issues do not negatively affect the map image on the front. The map will be shipped folded as issued. It would look great matted and framed and would make a perfect gift.
