ANTIQUE CHROMOLITHOGRAPH BIRD PRINT This 121 year old chromolithograph print is from "REPORT ON THE BIRDS OF PENNSYLVANIA" by B.H. Warren and published by E.K. Meyers. of Harrisburg, P.A. in 1890.These chromolithographs are after Audobon plates but are not considered Audobons because they were printed on a smaller scale. They are sometimes referd to as "The Poor Man's Audobon's". This chromolithograph print (the size of the picture) is about 8 " x 5 1/2 " on a page that is about 9 1/2 " x 6 " It is in very good condtion with the usual age toning. This print is suitable for framing and would be an excellent gift. The print that is being sold is of "VESPER, FIELD & YELLOW-WINGED SPARROWS". |
