This 235 year old copper engraving print is from "BANKES'S NEW SYSTEM of GEOGRAPHY" . The book pictured various native customs that Captain Cook experienced on his three trips to explore the world. It was published in London in 1781.
This print has an image that is about 7 " x 5 " on a page that is about 9 1/2 " x 6 ". The print is in good condition printed on hand-made, chain-linked paper. It is suitable for framing and would be an excellent gift.
