RARE, ANTIQUE CHROMOLITHOGRAPH ANTIQUE PRINT
This 133 year old print is from "BACH'S RENAISSANCE" published by Gustav Weise. of Stuttgart, Germany in about 1880.
These chromolithographs are some of the finest that I have seen. Of the choices for wall hangings that we have, we have two of these chromolithographs in our dining room. The print is quite rare. I cannot find the book anywhere on the Internet although there are several fine illustrated books published in Stuttgart during this period by Gustav Weise.
This colored lithograph print (the size of the image) is about 12 " x 8 1/2 " on a page that is about 15 " x 10 1/2 " It is in very good condtion with the usual age toning. It has high detail and the featured antiques are beautiful. This print is suitable for framing and would be an excellent gift.
The print that is being sold is of "ITALIAN WROUGHT IRON".
