RARE, ANTIQUE, STEEL ENGRAVING PRINT This 151 year old print was rescued from the book "NATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY of EMINENT AMERICANS from ORIGINAL PAINTINGS by ALONZO CHAPPEL" by Evert Duyckinck & Alonzo Chappel, dated 1862. It was published by Johnson & Fry, New York.This steel engraving print (the size of the picture) is about 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" on a page that is about 8 1/2 x 11 1/2". It is in very good condition. The antique print has the facimile of the signature of the person pictured. It is suitable for framing and would be an excellent gift. The print that is being sold is of: "DANIEL MORGAN". |
